TMS uses a targeted magnetic pulses, similar to what is used in an MRI machine to activate parts of the brain, resulting in symptom improvement.
Transcranial Magnetic Therapy (TMS) is a non-invasive, non-drug therapy that treats depression at the source. Outpatient treatments are performed in our office, and you can even drive home after appointments.
TMS therapy is not painful or disruptive, does not cause systemic side effects, and does not require hospitalization or anesthesia. TMS allows you to return to normal activities right away!
TMS is safe and easy to tolerate. Because it is not a depression drug, TMS Therapy does not have the same side effects that are associated depression medications.
TMS is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy, a medication free treatment for Depression and other mental health issues. TMS uses focused magnetic pulses, similar to what is used in an MRI is used to stimulate the areas of the brain that have decreased activity in depression. “Waking up” these connections can have a lasting effect on neurotransmitter levels, making long-term remission from depression possible for many people.
